Teresa strives to give the most relaxing and therapeutic experience for each client and their specific needs through customized bodywork sessions.
DEEP TISSUE THERAPEUTIC/TRIGGER POINT MASSAGE (60 or 90 minutes)
Using breathwork to help open and expand muscle tissue as well as using slow, deep specific work, varying symptoms of chronic pain are alleviated. My experience ranges from low back pain and sciatica, neck and shoulder pain and shoulder/rotator cuff issues. Most chronic pain is also treated with some specific assisted stretching and take home yoga postures for the client.
LOMI LOMI/OPU (Belly) MASSAGE (60 minutes)
Treatments are comprised using the palms, forearms, fingers, knuckles and elbows, and focus on long, flowing strokes of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi style, bringing the client to a deep state of calm and relaxation, much like the waves of the ocean.
Lomi lomi strokes are also very beneficial for alleviating digestive symptoms and stomach pain with intuition and care.
REIKI ENERGY WORK (30 or 60 minutes)
Reiki is an ancient Japanese system of healing. It is used to restore balance to the body and mind by unblocking stuck energy along the body’s meridians. Reiki Energy work is briefly incorporated at the end of each massage session to bring the client into their body and help remove and blockages in the throat and head area.
Reiki can be requested on its own for a complete one hour session of total healing, energy balancing and restorative work or added onto your massage session in 30 minute increments for a total holistic healing experience.
PRE/POST NATAL (60 or 90 minutes)
From the 12th to the 40th week and beyond, pregnancy massage clients have benefitted from soothing relief that massage can offer the ever changing bodies of women preparing for birth. Teresa has had much success, using similar techniques to Lomi Lomi and therapeutic massage to ease out and open up any constriction and pain in the body. The use of aromatherapy can be incorporated to help with feelings of nausea and anxiety. Teresa’s direct experience as a mother brings her to a closer understanding of the changes and preparation that take place during and after this sacred time.

How Do I Work With a Coach?
First, you’ll sit down with Teresa in person for an hour to talk about what you want to accomplish. Teresa and you will look over where you feel your life is imbalanced .and through your interaction with Teresa, together you’ll define your goals and the challenges that might stand in your way. Then you and Teresa will outline the steps you’ll need to take to achieve those goals! Sessions typically range from 8-12 sessions over a 3-month period and sometimes longer.
