Liz’s Reiki clients include individuals with cancer, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, insomnia, allergies, digestive issues, addiction, anxiety, depression and more. She enjoys watching client perspectives and physical symptoms change – often after just one treatment! She spends most days in awe of this healing modality.
Also known as ki or chi, reiki is universal life force energy that naturally flows through our bodies. When this energy is blocked or stagnant, it can lead to physical or emotional discomfort and disease. Reiki practitioners have been trained to use their hands to channel this energy and remove blockages, helping to restore balance and promote healing. Similar to other healing modalities, such as acupuncture, physical and talk therapy, and chiropractic care, Reiki is often cumulative and allows clients to have progressively deeper experiences as they continue the practice.
Originally from Michigan, Liz holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Bloustein School at Rutgers. Liz served in the Peace Corps in Thailand from 2011 to 2013. In addition to being a Reiki Master Candidate, she currently works in local government.
